VOLUNTEER

Trustee

Our Trustees play an important behind-the-scenes role in strengthening our management and administration, supporting our small team of staff and volunteers, making sure we are run in the interests of our beneficiaries, and fulfilling our legal responsibilities as a charity.

The main duties of a trustee are to: ensure we carry out our purposes for the public benefit; comply with our governing document and the law; act in our best interest; ensure we are accountable; manage our resources responsibly; and act with reasonable care and skill.

This role offers flexibility and most activities can be carried out at home. We hold 4-6 meetings per year, each lasting up to 2.5 hours. We ask our Trustees to commit to a role of 1, 2 or 3 years.

Fundraising Assistant

Our Fundraising Assistant/s will support the team in generating donations from various sources (e.g. corporate, trust, community, gifts) to meet our income targets.
Tasks may involve networking, exploring new opportunities, completing funding applications, evaluating funding impact, organising events and running campaigns. We are currently looking for extra help with running our Giving Tuesday and Christmas campaigns.
