About this experience

Our playroom offers a safe space for child-led play - we love for children to explore and naturally learn, following their interests through play. We are also happy to offer more adult-led activities if you prefer.

Pictologue 1:1 Play Time provides an affordable alternative or supplement to therapy. Our unique approach enhances and develops language and communication skills as well as emotional well-being and self-esteem. Our team carefully choose all the toys, games and crafts to foster development and our unique Pictologue Packs are readily available to help children understand and use target vocabulary in play.

If you have specific requirements, please get in touch ahead of your appointment to let us know what you would like your session to focus on or if your child has any particular needs. We are also happy to invite siblings to join these sessions. Please let us know if you would like us to create some special family time to build and nurture relationships together.

Pictologue is a children’s charity and we don’t want anyone to miss out on the help their little one needs due to financial difficulties. We may be able to offer free / subsidised places. Please email finance@pictologue.co.uk to discuss your needs.
